The Deputy Vice-Chancellor - Student Affairs office deals with Student Affairs of the University.

The functions of DVC( SA) include:

  • Planning, organising and managing the provision of academic and social counselling, career, work study programmes and sports, (both within and outside the University), accommodation, catering, community service, recreation, health, security and other student affairs.
  • Developing and implementing programmes (such as leadership training) that support students educational experience and wholesome life.
  • Advising and guiding student organisations and mentoring students in their development of leadership, moral reasoning, social intelligence and other skills required in their lives.
  • Developing mechanisms to anticipate and promptly, efficiently and effectively respond to student needs.
