J.HNDFST publishes articles covering all aspects of nutrition, dietary intake, food security and food processing, environment and natural resources management in relation to human nutrition and related disciplines two times in a year. You can find details at

J.HNDFST is a product of University of Nairobi, Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology’s efforts at supporting the scientific invention, innovation and progress in Food, Human Nutrition, Dietetics and related agriculture, food security, health and consumer disciplines. It provides a forum for researchers, academics, practitioners and industrial workers to disseminate their findings.

J.HNDFST is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, which means that all published articles are made freely available online without a subscription.
