The University of Nairobi, Kenya, will host an international conference on Korean Studies from 12th to 13th December, 2014. The conference will be a platform for interdisciplinary discussions covering academia and research in Korean studies, as well as administrative matters and experiences of
Korean Studies Programmes around the world.

The conference will bring together experts, scholars and administrators to consider some of the pressing issues facing Korean Studies in the modern university in an open forum. Apart from holding debate in our respective academic fields, we are seeking to better understand the development, proliferation and challenges of Korean Studies Programmes around the world, as well as to assess their impact and significance in the modern society.
