Applications for a paid six-month internship program in Boeing now open

Boeing, through its International Business Internship Program (IBIP); has announced the opening of applications for a six - month paid business internship program targeted at university students in Kenya. The internship will run next year from January to July 2018. Applications are open until 30th June 2017.

IBIP is open to all students studying in business-related fields including; Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Strategy, Management, and Information Systems.

"The students will be provided with paid US-based work experience, which we are confident will prove extremely valuable when they return and invest their new skills to the benefit of Kenya. Having strong work experience on your resume is a real differentiator when competing in the job market," said Mr. Joao Miguel, Boeing- Managing Director, Sub-Saharan Africa.

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or have graduated within the last 12 months (applicants that graduated in May 2016 or earlier will NOT be considered). Students must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, be high achievers academically, as well as demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills.

The International Business Internship Program, launched in 2012, provides students with valuable exposure to the latest technological and business advances and thinking in a variety of disciplines relating to business operations, finance, marketing, strategy and the aviation industry.

The students will be exposed to a range of business activities and work alongside Boeing employees in various fields. They will also have an opportunity to spend time with Boeing leaders, visit several Boeing factories and share their experience with other IBIP interns from around the world Interested students must apply on <> and enter Requisition #: 1700005374 into the search field.
